1. Acceptance

These Terms of Service (Terms) form a legally binding agreement between you and ErinFocus Education Platform (we, us, our) governing your access to and use of our website and related pages, including educational activity guides, workshop information, contact tools, and other content made available on the site (collectively, the Service).

By accessing or using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Minimum age: you must be at least 16 years old to use the Service independently and to submit forms. If you are under 18, you may use the Service only with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian who accepts these Terms on your behalf and is responsible for supervision of any activities. The Service is intended for families, caregivers, and educators, and it is not designed for unsupervised use by children.

2. Service description

ErinFocus is a modern children’s creativity and family learning platform offering educational content such as beginner craft ideas, workshop-style project guides, sewing and fabric inspiration, seasonal family activities, and practical lifestyle articles for parents and caregivers. We aim to provide clear, responsible guidance that helps families plan activities that are enjoyable and realistic.

The Service may include: written guides, checklists, suggested materials lists, printable-style instructions presented on web pages, and tools for contacting us about workshop formats or collaboration requests. The Service does not provide medical, psychological, or professional therapeutic services, and it does not provide guarantees about outcomes from any activity.

We may update, change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. Some content may be informational only, and availability of certain workshop ideas or formats may depend on location, staffing, or safety considerations. Any arrangement for an in-person or facilitated workshop will be agreed separately via written communication and may be subject to additional terms.

3. User obligations

You agree to use the Service lawfully and responsibly. You are responsible for ensuring that any activity you choose is suitable for the participants, the space, and the materials used. You are also responsible for supervising children and for following safety guidance and manufacturer instructions for tools, adhesives, paints, needles, scissors, and any other items used in a project.

• Use the Service for personal, educational, or household purposes only, unless we agree otherwise in writing.
• Respect the rights of other users and do not attempt to disrupt the site.

If the Service offers an account feature in the future, you agree to maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials and to keep your account information accurate. You also agree to maintain no more than one account per person unless we permit otherwise.

5. Prohibited activities

To keep the platform safe, reliable, and respectful, you agree not to engage in any of the following:

• Using the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of Irish law or applicable regulations.
• Attempting to gain unauthorised access to systems, accounts, or data, or probing, scanning, or testing vulnerabilities.
• Scraping, harvesting, or extracting data or content from the Service by automated means without our permission.
• Reverse engineering, decompiling, or attempting to derive source code or underlying ideas from the Service.
• Uploading or transmitting malware, harmful code, or content designed to disrupt or damage the Service.
• Impersonating another person or entity, misrepresenting your affiliation, or using misleading identity information.
• Spamming, sending repeated unsolicited messages through our contact tools, or using the Service to promote unrelated products or services.

We also do not guarantee that any activity, guide, or workshop plan will be suitable for your specific circumstances. Families vary, and materials and tools vary; you remain responsible for choosing appropriate options and for supervision.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ErinFocus Education Platform and its directors, employees, contractors, and partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Service.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the lower of: (a) the total amount you paid to us for the Service in the 12 months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) 100 EUR.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded under Irish law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation. This section applies even if a remedy fails of its essential purpose.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless ErinFocus Education Platform and its directors, employees, and contractors from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of the Service, (b) your breach of these Terms, or (c) your violation of any law or third-party rights.

9. Third-party links

The Service may reference tools, materials, or products commonly used in crafts and sewing. If we provide links or references to third-party websites in the future, those third-party services are not controlled by us. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of external websites or services.

Your interactions with third parties are solely between you and the third party. We encourage you to review any third-party terms and privacy policies.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect personal data, including information submitted through contact and workshop inquiry forms and choices made in the cookie preference panel. The Privacy Policy is incorporated by reference into these Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them (including non-contractual disputes or claims) are governed by the laws of Ireland. You agree that the courts of Dublin, Ireland have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms, subject to any mandatory consumer protection rights that apply to you.

12. Dispute resolution

Before starting formal legal proceedings, you agree to contact us and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days. Please provide a clear description of the issue and any relevant details so we can understand and respond.

If the dispute is not resolved within the informal resolution period, either party may bring proceedings in the courts specified in the Governing law section. Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking urgent injunctive or equitable relief where appropriate.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms, posed a security risk, or used the Service unlawfully. You may stop using the Service at any time.

Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including Intellectual property, Disclaimer of warranties, Limitation of liability, Indemnification, Governing law, Dispute resolution, and Contact.

14. Modifications

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will become effective 14 days after we post the updated Terms on this page. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

If the changes are material, we will provide a clear notice on the homepage for at least 14 days before they take effect, where reasonably possible. You should review these Terms periodically.
